A € 1,5 billion Finance, Design, Build and Operate contract for circa 400 kms toll highway and associated road network comprising of 251kms dual 4-lane carriageway, 58 kms dual 3-lane carriageway, 4 viaducts of total length 3472 metres, 24 overpass and 3 underpass bridges, 19 intersection bridges, 1 river bridge, 2 operation & maintenance centres, 6 parking areas, 4 service areas, 12 intersections and 12 toll collection stations.
The project was opened circa 2.5 years after financial close, almost 1 year in advance of the completion date under the contract.
The greenfield development project is part of Turkey’s Vision 2023 programme of works and completes the missing link in the Turkish section of the Trans European Motorway.
The motorway runs through Central Anatolia, connecting the Golbasi district of Ankara with Konya, Kirsehir, Aksaray, Nevsehir and Nigde provinces.
