Karakoçan (Kalecik) Dam
All the facilities of this dam, including penstock, valves and irrigation pipes, were manufactured and constructed by DSİ for the irrigation Karakoçan district plain within the borders of the Elazığ province.
The river was taken into a conduit and penstock was placed in this conduit after the completion of the construction. The place where the spillway was placed is located on a rocky ground and 28.000 m3 of rock excavation was carried out here.
